TGI Active DI Box

The TGIDIB1 is a single channel active DI box suitable for live performance and studio use. Powered by a 9V battery (included), its active circuitry delivers a higher input impedance than a passive design, making it particularly well suited to instruments with passive pickups such as acoustic guitars and basses, where preserving the natural tone and clarity of the signal is important.

A 6.35mm jack input and XLR input offer flexible connectivity for a range of sources, while a link jack output allows the signal to be passed on to an amplifier in parallel, so the instrument can feed both a front-of-house desk and a stage amp simultaneously. A balanced XLR output connects directly to a mixing desk or PA system. A ground lift switch tackles unwanted hum from ground loops, and a three-position pad switch - offering 0dB, -20dB and -40dB - ensures the unit can handle everything from low-output passive instruments to high-level line sources without distortion.

The TGIDIB1's compact, robust housing makes it easy to place on a pedalboard or pack into a gig bag alongside other equipment.
